Studio headphone from AKG belonging to the K 171 series

I use this headset for seven months, in my home studio. It serves both to listen to songs, to recording and mix (late at night in order not to interfere with my family). I can say that this is my first headphone "studio quality". He came to replace a Koss who quickly accused the use I had (which starts tattered foam, cable crachotte). AKG with this one feels at once that it is the quality above. It is therefore a closed headphone with automatic adjustment system on the headband to fit all heads. Lots used for hours at a time, or its weight (200g) or pressure (ears, head) I have not bothered. Another plus: the cord is removable via a system of mini XLR connection, convenient for storage or if the cable has to be damaged.
For sound, nothing to say, I think it complies with the whole spectrum and it's balanced. Now I'm not a pro ... and it is subjective.

The headset comes with:
two leads (right 3 m and 5 m coiled one)
two sets of headphones (a leatherette and velvet)
screw jack adapter

Yield 94 dB
Frequency response 18 - 26000 Hz

for the price, I placed at random, it's a gift, but I know almost exactly to its market value. For my first headset of its kind I am very satisfied.
