Genelec introduces the 7360A and 7370A, two new subwoofer models.

Both models are announced as providing accurate low frequency monitoring for all analogue and digital applications and features AutoCal (allowing to automatically align every subwoofer for level, timing, crossover phase and equalisation of room response anomalies) and GLM technologies. Announced as providing extended low frequency performance, accurate tonal characteristics reproduction and high dynamic capabilities, both models also support a distributed bass management architecture and offer 7.1 channel analogue XLR inputs and outputs together with stereo AES/EBU XLR inputs and outputs without the need for additional external A/D converters. A Class D amplifier unit is integrated into the enclosure and contains DSP crossover filters, driver overload and protection circuitry.

As far as the differences are concerned, the 7360A delivers 300W (class D) through a 10" woofer with a max SPL of 109dB, while the 7370A offers up to 400W of class D power throuhg a 12" woofer.

Announced UK MSRP are £1,629 for the 7360A and £2,499 for the 7370A. More at www.genelec.com.
