The Leatherman tool of ZE ZE manager ...

I admit that when I bought it, there was a small part of "fluff" in there. Until then, I had several noname multifunction, most dung quickly broken, one of them was found perfectly adequate and was the joke of the few times I used it, having almost always a tool box handy.

But I wanted to work a bit more in control and I thought it had to be a very credible. So buying the Leatherman range of basic and Petzl. :-D

Finally, no regrets. Because the relationship between my right and noname Leatherman is roughly of the order of the relationship between a Behringer B1 and C414.

The Leatherman is a real tool with which you can go free without fear of breaking it. The cutter is surprisingly effective and I think that with the exception of the openers, I have the opportunity to use all the tools it contains. Some, like the saw blade or scissors, you might think gadget because of their size, are a surprisingly effective.

Regret: no corkscrew on the Wave. I believe that only in Leatherman Juice in include, but lack the screwdriver bit holder to which is essential if you want to use ferrules Allen. It also lacks the precision screwdriver whose presence is valuable on the Wave.

D: Otherwise, you should see at Victorinox: the Swiss are clearly more sensitive to the need corkscrew U.S.

As there is the price. While the Leatherman are sold in France at about the same price as Victorinox, a delusional price compared to the price in U.S. dollars.

But on ebay, there are specialized Leatherman sellers where you pay the "street price" in dollars. Even with the port, the economy is more than substantial. My Wave, with cover fitted + an extension bit holder + extra Alen ferrules screwdriver kits / had come to me in the € 70 is only half an equivalent at Victorinox.

In case of purchase in the U.S., the additional bits kit is not a luxury because it comes default is obviously based on the Anglo-Saxon standards (inches).

The cover is damn good: it can be attached to the belt horizontally or vertically and can hold a closed or open Leatherman (pliers) position. It also welcomes the support plate tips. Space appears to be for the extension, but that sucks: it does not take enough and it's a blow to lose very quickly. Damage.

Finally, the main shortcoming of Wave is its weight. While it is absolutely not a problem in a context of work, when worn on the belt, as it makes it very suitable for everyday transport. Even when you like me usually have a bag or briefcase to carry around all her b ** del, its weight and dimensions are not negligible.
