a beautiful chorus (Truetone - H2O)

By -Livingroom-, 29/04/2014
It is in the same box analog chorus and digital delay. It works by jack for guitar. is analog, so not editable. I did not notice the nuances of sound with v1, if not the lush knob which will be discussed.

three knobs for each effect, nothing to cry foul :) if there is a switch to make "long" delays (it's still short, you expect to 30seconds delay, he's a echo in the mind ) or short slapback kind. And another that changes the chorus into a kind of tri-chorus, basically it increases the depth.

We do not get lost in the settings, and the sound comes easily!

effects are effective, the chorus is distinctive and very beautiful, you can get kind leslie effects, it is very "aquatic" in mind. This is only for guitar, with a low all the charm of a chorus is lost. pushed in, all right, this is the reign of noise and experimental.

As for the delay in slapback is a treat, it is very warm.

This is very typical so it will not please everyone, but at least it has an identity and a warmth not found elsewhere. V2 V1 is like this little switch and more, it's expensive, but it is the price of quality (even in secondhand found easily). Today I'm using more than in the studio, but it saves me a rack for the same sound made.

very good od (Truetone - Double Trouble)

By -Livingroom-, 03/01/2014
Double overdrive pedal analog format energizable standard 9v. Metal case with special but effective design. Jack in, jack out, and roll youth!

It has two channels designed in the same way (gain tone level, and switch extraordinary lift low as 808 for the first ts) can be switched on one or the other or both at the same time through two large switches metal.

The quality is there, it can be a good machine scene, while a small one, I blame him one side a little too greasy for me, even if it's still a great od.

I use it for six months, I find it good, but I prefer a home Fulltone OCD for example (this is not the same price). I had a bunch of pedals in distos hands so I know whereof I speak.

An ultra compact pedal, the clean, powerful sound (Truetone - Visual Volume)

2 independent overdrive channels can be used simultaneously, 2 different colors and a filter "Sharp / Blunt" acting as a compression, this gives all the variations possible signal distortion: it's rock, it's pop, it's metal, it's blues, it's electronic! Recalling the natural hot saturation distortion produced by a tube cicuit for Jekyll. Thicker distortion, excavating or inflate thanks to the potentiometer "MID" for Hyde.

Settings: Canal Jekyll: drive, tone, theft, bass boost on / off - Hyde channel: drive, tone, mid, theft, sharp / blunt.

The settings are very simple because each potentiometer and switch
have an obvious effect on the sound
Jekyll side is an overdrive that can resolve the small slight crunch to a
Distorted very rich and oily.
The HYDE side is intended for solos party. It can be set to have a very aggressive sound thanks to the switch sharp (sharp in French) or blunt side much more fluted and warm
And what good is that you can choose the Jekyll side or HYDE or 2 together which allow very rich and various mixtures

I try with a Line 6 Variax guitar that models are all legendary guitars: Les Paul, SG, Firebird, ES 335 ES 175 Rickenbacker, Strat, Tele, Jaguar..etc and a Fender Bassman 12 4x "dropoff window
The sound is absolutely gorgeous and clean but when the gain is thoroughly balloons
I also try with a standard ESP eclipse 1 EMG 81 and 60 (Jap model)
This pedal responds perfectly to different attacks such pick a lamp pedal
I also try with a LTD VIPER (Korean) with pickups Seymour Duncan SH4 JB and 59
This is an all mahogany guitar with ebony touce and versatile sound. I used this time a less luxurious amp that the Peavey Classic 30.
No problem: the sound delivered by the pedals are always as effective as it is for big sound the metal hot blues and rock between.

I have totally bought 2 because I want to be able to place them in various locations in my long effects chain, experienced and always find new subtle tones.
Undoubtedly one of the best market price value for a pedal too kid 2 cannaux with lots of knobs and really intuitively switch adjustable and very strong because in addition to 2 years of use my first J & H n I ' I had no concern for failure or wear of the hull.
A must have for less than 160 €

the best volume pedal (Truetone - Visual Volume)

By frederik307, 06/12/2013
Volume pedal with 2 inputs, 3 outputs (one is dedicated to link a tuner, which enables the tuner at all times even when playing). Internally there is for each input (1 active / passive switch and a potentiometer boost level). Red leds (2, one in the middle and one at the end) and blue (8) to visualize the magnitude of the pedal (the red LED in the middle helps me to determine my average volume, I can increase up the second red LED to go solo or decrease to allow more seats to other instruments). The system is rack and when I received it, it was not properly assembled and I could quibble to replace. Not hard but you need to quibble. Aside from that it is a very solid pedal, the rack has never moved but I use it for 4-5 years. This pedal is very nice and super convenient.

This is a volume pedal (except resolve internal switches and potentiometers), it is easy to use.

Initially I had placed without knowing ahead of the amp, it turns out that this site has more impact on the gain on the volume. Here I was not fully satisfied. But after searching the web. I placed it in my effects loop and then what perfection. Hyper hyper progressive and precise. I use guitars with passive pickups (telecaster, les paul, musicman Y2D) but also with a guitar with active pickups (musicman luke 2) and no worries. Perfect control.

I extensively used since 4-5 ans.Je have not tried other model Advent if not the volume pedal from my old pod xt live. This pedal seemed especially necessary for group play. I do not use it for effects violoning but only for level settings each time group. Are more real, strength (just some scratches on the paint with everything she lived), the LEDs that situate the magnitude of the scale, accuracy and ease of use (not too soft, not too hard), the opportunity to connect active or passive guitars that does not ernie ball (you must choose a model based on that with which it will be used). I would do this choice without hesitation. If she lets me, I recommend a pronto. I've had a lot of effect on my pedalboard, some go the other remains in a long time. Well this one is the oldest on my pedalboard and is not ready to leave his place.
