UTILIZATION
The manual says it is very easy to get a good sound right away. It is true that telment it's hard to go further in his reading as it is already established in the first agreement.
In terms of decision-head with the stuff, I know a. I spent hours on pre-amp / effects rack digging sounds in all directions for the final bit. On the Mesa, one branch, is at once a sound that makes you want to play for hours.

To repeat, easy to carry (for Mesa) is very good but unfortunately lack of dissemination and it is better to do it again by the sound.
For rock concerts, only it is too tight even on-high. I bought a firm backing to give it more body.
SOUNDS
It is perfect for all styles of Rock / blues / metal / jazz / crunch but not saturated or Death anyway.
It makes it unrecognizable as any guitar sound is pure and powerful.
The only negative is not being able to play on two settings with the footswitch, it's a combo after all.
OVERALL OPINION
I tried the Studio 22 in store. Opportunities. to 650 euros. I came back the next day to buy it, it was already gone! Then I found a Studio 22 + (with equalizers) to 730 euros, new lamps, I have no hesitation this time. In any case the 22 or 22 + is the same.
If it is displayed 22watts that make you hesitate, forget fast ca. The manual states that it is best not to push the master volume and set beyond 6, it can cause oscillations of the lamps. To the extent that the building is already shaved before, there is nothing to worry about.
I highly recommend for its purity of sound, in hindsight I made a 50W because it is too powerful and too much at home just for the stage. Since I sold, but I really keep the memory of this distortion and the grain Mesa dynamics and super clean jazz / country really beautiful, warm, enveloping, lens or matte tjrs but playable and serious. Whatever the chosen EQ, AC, but never sounds gadjet tjrs pro. solid, consistent, very reactive to the guitar.
