Bugera 1960

To my surprise Bugera makes some decent sounding amplifiers. It's built a good niche into the market primarily because they're very inexpensive amplifier prices. Most of their amplifiers come well under $500 which is extremely good for someone who is on a budget or for us musicians you don't have any money. They're not the most high-end amplifiers and are not to be that much of a high quality but they certainly are going get you a decent tone at a relatively cheap price.

SOUNDS

The tone of this amplifier is a very 1960s Marshall amplifier. If you look at just at the front panel of it you can exec see exactly the influence that was taken from. This amp looks almost like a Marshall plexi amplifier because of its EQ section and it's too high and low inputs for each. Which makes it a four input to channel amplifier. This amp is 150 W high gain amplifier that features for EL34 power tubes as well as three ECC83 preamp tubes.

The tone of this amplifiers extremely Marshall like in it's voicing and feel. Of course this is going to be exactly what you would expect just based upon the appearance in cosmetics of this amplifier. The amp features a true bypass effects loop which give you the ability to put effects pedals or rack units within the effects loop. The classic tube amplifier sounds great we really crank up the distortion quite a bit. Bugera says that uses high-quality components and inputs and I guess I have to take your word on it but I just don't know how they can get these prices this low

OVERALL OPINION

I recommend these amplifiers to anyone looking to get a good amplifier for a decent price. At new you can find these amps for right around $350 which is a steal of a price. It's a decent enough camp for those wanting a good sound at low cost. It's not going to be a high-end amplifier and is not to be roadworthy of any kind but it will get a good tone for someone who needs a good amp for low price.

An effects loop bypass.
2 Channels (and not used in conjuction foot switchable). Principle 4 inputs (High / Low 1 and 2) as the old Marshall, Hiwatt, SoundCity, Vox, etc, etc. ..
NO master volume. It is played back if you want a big overdrive.
Rglage. Presence, Treble, Middle, Bass, Gain 1 "crystalline," Gain 2 ("fat").
Effect "BIG SOUND" that hurts because it's too powerful. (But there's tricks).

UTILIZATION

We can no longer simple, except possibly the very small tip of the mini-jack and between LOW1 High2 to use the 2 channels at the same time (remember, non-switchable channels unless you purchase a Box AB).
Manuel virtually useless except that explains the manipulation of the mini-jack and also how rgler the bias of the amplifier.
Very easy to use "basically" the amp. It sounds terrible but it is much too powerful and therefore unnecessary for me tel_quel. I like the sound is 7 on the Gain 1 and Gain 2 10 off.
If your maniac like me, you faudrat spend a little time to get sound you need an acceptable volume.

SOUNDS

It suits me perfectly. (Rock'n Roll and Pop-Punk-Rock).
This is not an amp for me but I Whereas versatile versatility as a default.
The sound is a Marshall 1959 Plexi head. The BLEND of 2 Earnings for the determination of cot "Slamming" and cluck "Bold" on your sound.
I currently use a baffle 2x12 "V30 in a tlcaster 52 (rdition) and Italia Mondial woodtop team of 2 mini-humbucker Gibson.
Specific on it, sourriant and dynamic. Harmonic singing. It's good!
Like any amp dpourvu master volume, you faudrat make some changes if it is sold 100W because the sound is much too strong, so it ingrable.
I started by removing 2 power tubes to pass 50w. ATTENTION, each amp is different. For it must be removed 1 and 4 or 2 and 3. In addition, the impdence output is changing. It is found multiply by 2. So if your on the switch into 4 ohms, in reality you have 8 ohms. In short, 50w is better, but it is still too powerful, the first row of spectator morfle ... and to baffle projection towards the back of the stage I am not a fan ...
So until I finish my attnuateur of Tube-Town, temporary trick (which works very well though) is to put a potentiomtre in the effects loop for metering signal pr Tage amplification attacking power. It eats a little shine, but I corrected Eq and presence.

OVERALL OPINION

For how long have you been using it? Approximately 2 months with a lot of time in the local test stuff and dj 7 concerts.
What is the specific feature you like best, the least? I like the sound of this amp as I like the sound of the plexi my friend Mick.
Have you tried many other models before acqurir? Pffff .. piles. Whether those of musician friends, with of the representatives, in shops and studios. It is counted in tens.
How do you report qualitprix? Poor little Chinese ...
With exprience, you do again this election? In your opinion?

This is my own opinion, which is the portion shared by my fellow group and the sound guys. By the way, he put it "he beams this amp!"
Supplmentaire small precision, we must make a diffrence between reality and sound marketing. Try and make your own opinion. I always laugh when reading posts on a particular brand that is better and blah blah and then the guys have not even tried. If this is the kind of guy I meet sometimes on concerts and play 2 on Triple Rectifier in "Modern" (without the grinder) ... I chuckle.
Ok bugera is a subsidiary of Behringer. And then? Marshall also made the "crap" not? Fender also its average cota of stuff? And Vox? In short, you think they are all the "good" stuff? And that is manufactured or?
