USE

Single Hyper
no manual ... two pots

SOUND QUALITY

Then it's something else ... certe headroom can be limited to a dynamic on its quality (like 441 or micro tape) but low level
But what a sound !!! it's huge, accurate, warm.
Each cannal through two EF 86 ...
it's more than basic but sound follows.
A must for example, for voice, bowed strings, winds through a couple of KM 84 or ribbon.
also tested TLM 170/4050 / KM 74 of winds and strings is quite simple: if you push levels are finally hear both the particular grain of the real circuits lamp ... that of microphones!
in brief as it is the only comparable alternative (but with a different philosophy) in the ranges of Studer 169 I own

NOTICE GLOBAL

- Simplicity and 3ans-
- Less packaging, no 48v, no insert or eq
-essayé many things (see contribs)
8/10 -qualitée price level functions, packaging etc ... 10/10 for sound
_with experience it is clear 2 slices of this level is incomparable ... if we accept the Spartan side of the packaging and functions.
(Just an observation that is very argus fantaisite:
a cannal (on ebay) sold € 1,200! then a double ...)
