Embertone releases Leonid Bass

Leonid Bass is finally here, and we now have all the details! With almost 6,000 samples for a total size 4.2GB installed (counting both 16 & 24-bit versions), Leonid Bass captures the sound of an Italian upright bass made in the 1700’s played by North Carolina Symphony’s bassist Leonid Finkelshteyn, the whole sampled “capturing more detail and articulation content than in past releases” according to Embertone. It features true legato programming, true Portamento’s, con Sordino, sul Ponticello and pizzicatos modes. Plus, it’s made for use with the free Kontakt Player, so you don’t even have to own the full Kontakt version to use it in the best conditions.
