Behringer is going to add the two new UMC404 and UMC1820 audio interfaces to its U-Phoria Series, that is what was announced at NAMM 2014.

Both new Behringer U-Phoria UMC404 and UMC1820 are USB audio interfaces that offer a 24-bit/96kHz max resolution and MIDI compatibility.

Behringer used on these new models MIDAS mic preamps ; you’ll find four of them on the UMC404 and eight on the UMC1820, along with 48V phantom power.

The UMC404 offers four XLR/jack combo inputs, MIDI in and out and XLR, 1/4” and RCA outputs. You can also add external effects and processors thanks to the 4 inserts available on the back of the interface. A headphone output is also available with a dedicated level knob and an A/B switch to monitor the desired source. Another mono/stereo switch is also on board.

The UMC1820 is a 18×20 USB audio interface equipped with digital optical inputs and outputs (S/PDIF, ADAT and S/MUX), MIDI in and out, main outputs with Dim, Mute and main level control, as well as two headphone outputs with level control and A/B Monitor switch. XLR/1/4” inputs and 1/4” main and line outputs complete the menu.

Both new U-Phoria ship with a recording, editing and podcasting software and 150 virtual effect and instrument plug-ins.
