Shure PG42-USB

Shure PG42-USB is a usb type of microphone , it can be used as well as a live device either as a recording device. It uses condenser technology.

OVERALL OPINION

What I like most about this mic is the USB Plug and Play connectivity for fast digital recording, I also must mention Integrated pre-amp with Microphone Gain Control and another great feature of this product that is Zero Latency Monitoring for real-time tracking and playback.
I also do like Headphone jack for monitoring with 1/8 inch connectivity and the Monitor Mix Control for blending microphone and playback audio and other details like 16 bit, up to 48 kHz sample rate and the fact that is compatible with Windows Vista, XP, 2000, and Mac OS X (10.1 or later).

My genuine opinion about the value of the price is great, this product costs around 250 $ and it's very well made and the easy to use is extremely helpful even for those that aren't very into hardware.

Precision and quality of sound is great, I like the color captured by this microphone, the timbre and texture of the voice stays intact which is really handy if you're making more pop or soul music.

I've tried different models before this product, and I think is a good product that provided a high-quality regarding the sound capture and the material that this product is made of. However I would suggest trying some of AKG usb microphone products which I think are better and sound better.

Knowing what I know I don't think I would buy this product over and over again, mainly because I think that you can get a better deal than this , you can spend less money and get a better quality and better microphones , and also I must mention that I don't really like the design of this product.

. Large diaphragm, optimized for voice. Jack headphone listening, so back to the headset without latency contrle. Finally, the buttons contrle mixing intgr amazing, 10 out of 10!

OVERALL OPINION

. For that price, I pay 269 euros, it's really very pro, sr is well not worth a microphone 3000 euros or more, but I think if you are hesitating on a Micro 800 euros or a little more, take the one as there will be no noticeable diffrence ear I am sr. I do not like? Wow for that price, there is nothing I hates it sounds very pro I found, although good mix compress etc. It stays on well known instrumentals ...
. Not really tried the other models.
. The price quality ratio is amazing, I put 10 out of 10, very happy, thinking of taking an anti pop c always ncessaire and a microphone stand.
. Yes I would do this choice because for models, it's very good quality! Shure thank you! more, usb so no need to availing oneself of any interfaces, so plug and play, and you plug it ready. 10 of 10, really.
