I have 2 months. This is a truly impressive instrument. Traditional bill (maple / spruce), although its shape is more rounded than usual, this alto sounds beautifully acoustic (without sound). It is equipped with microphones for background music: a type micro "lavalier" to capture the sound and two piezos inside to pick up the vibrations. The two signals are then filtered and worked by an electronic below the chin (thereby retouching without opening the instrument).
Alto comes with two cables: one with two jacks for the microphone signal independently of piezos, 1 with a single jack summing the two catches. The result is truly stunning realism. Hervé Prudent knows leverage the best of each microphone: the warmth and roundness of lavalier and precise piezo grain.

The viola has pegs (micro) mechanical Wittner allowing extremely precise tuning control.
I asked 5 strings (FCGDA). The neck is slightly wider, but the game is easy.

I highly recommend for those looking for a classic alto with a device very accurate sound.
