Public price: $169 incl. VAT

Ample Sound adds to their virtual guitar plugin collection a Martin D-41 acoustic guitar model, named Ample Guitar M.

After modelling three electric guitars (PRS, Fender Stratocaster and Gibson Les Paul), Ample Sound now offers an acoustic model with Ample Guitar M, which includes more that 3800 sound samples in 24-bit / 44.1kHz.

Like with the other virtual guitars, Ample Guitar M includes complete strum samples for each chord and every music style, played either with fingers or pick, the ability to control the resonance, finger and fret noises and various techniques (hammer on, pull off, legato slide, palm mute, harmonics…).

The graphic interface offers a reproduction of the instrument, with a pick that will come and strum the strings and a lightning system that will indicate the finger position on the fingerboard. A virtual keyboard is also present so that you can follow on the screen the performance on your MIDI keyboard and an effect section includes compressor, overdrive, EQ, chorus, phaser, delay, reverb wah stompboxes and more. You can also view the piano roll in a dedicated control section.

Ample Guitar M is available in VST and AU plug-in formats for Mac OS X and Windows (X64 and X86). It is sold $169 and you can combine it with another virtual guitar of the collection at the special price of $219 instead of $318 until March 18th. You’ll find more information and audio/video demos on www.amplesound.net.
