Toontrack introduces today a new EZX expansion pack for EZdrummer 2 dedicated to Southern Soul drums.
Southern Soul EZX features five full kits from Ludwig, Gretsch, Pearl and Sakae recorded with two setups, one with fully mono-miking technique and the other in stereo (60s/70s styles). As a bonus, you get mic leakage with vocals, guitar, piano and upright bass in their original placement in the room for added ambience.
The drums were recorded in the Fame Studios, with engineer Jeff Balding (Faith Hill, Brad Paisley) and producer Glenn Rosenstein (James Taylor, U2, Ziggy Marley).
Southern Soul EZX also includes a selection of MIDI grooves/fills played by Chad Cromwell (Neil Young, Joe Walsh).
The expansion pack for EZdrummer 2 is now available at www.toontrack.com for 69 €.
