Spectrasonics released a few minutes ago the new version of its Omnisphere virtual synth and sample player.
Omnisphere 2 for Mac OS X and Windows had been introduced at NAMM last January (see new features in this news). You can now either purchase it for $499 / 399 € or upgrade it for $249 if you own Omnisphere 1, or benefit from a VIP upgrade for $199 if you own Omnisphere 1, Trilian and Stylux RMX. Note that if you purchased Omnisphere between October, 2015 and now, you get a grace period and can download the upgrade for free.
