Native Instruments Kills Kore

After several days of rumours and discussions on the company's forums, Native Instruments has confirmed that Kore is about to be discontinued.

After 5 years, Kore is on its way out and newer products, such as Maschine, should take the front stage. Current developments will be completed though, and Kore 2 users will get their 64-bit updates for Mac OS X and Windows plug-ins.

NI will also continue to provide technical support, but recommands that Kore 1 & 2 users (hardware versions) start turning towards Maschine – with a crossgrade offer priced at $449/€399.
