Topten Software has announced Cantabile 3, a new version that has undergone a complete ground up rebuild.
From the audio engine to the user-interface and everything in between, the entire product has been re-imagined, re-designed and re-engineered.
Cantabile is not your typical music workstation – it’s designed specifically for live performing musicians, hence real-time audio performance and stability are, of course, the primary goal of Cantabile.
Cantabile’s new audio engine is said to have been re-engineered from the ground up with a focus on performance and stability, faster audio mixing and more flexible audio and MIDI routing. Several new functions (including support for touch screens, ability to share racks between songs, new routing system and much more) are included.
No precise release date has been announced as of yet, but the developer seems confident that it will happen before the end of the year.
New users can buy Cantabile 2 now and get a free upgrade to version 3 when released, while also getting immediate access to the v3 preview builds. Introductory pricings are currently being applied, making the Solo version available for $69 (instead of $79) and Performer version for $199 (instead of $239). A 30-day money-back guarantee is also included in case you wouldn’t be completely satisfied.
For existing v2 users, Cantabile 3 will be included as part of an annual update subscription – $39 (Solo) or $99 (Performer).
