Neutrik upgrades its Xirium multifunction wireless audio network system in a new X version.

The Xirium X employs the Neutrik DIWA (Digital Wireless Audio) technology and allows for transmitting non-compressed digital audio from an unlimited number of devices on stage, in conference rooms, churches and even in studio. You can use it to connect microphones, instruments, loudspeakers/monitors, mixers, etc. and avoid the hassle of cabling the venue/studio.

The DIWA technology can send 24-bit / 48kHz digital audio with a 3ms latency within the 5 GHz bandwidth. Data are sent redundantly in order to avoid losses and correct transmission errors.

The Neutrik Xirium X comprises an XTX transmitter that can be used in Master or Slave setup, and an XRX receiver/repeater. Chaining the units is easy via a press of a button, Xirium X includes a licence-free automatic frequency management. You can connect an unlimited number of XRX receivers to an XTX transmitter and use up to 4 XTX on a single network (1 master and 3 slaves).

The modules can be powered by an adapter or an external battery unit and mounted on supports by using optional Manfrotto universal clamps.

All the details about the new Neutrik Xirium X wireless system are available at www.neutrik.com.
