Kurzweil introduces at Musikmesse 2014 a new digital piano that features the innovative Flash Play Technology.

According to Kurzweil, who didn’t give much details, the patented Flash Play technology allows for playing large samples (we are talking several GB) with a very low latency and almost no loading times.

The Forte is the first instrument to include this new Flash Play system. The digital piano includes a 16GB sample memory. The instrument offers sounds of Japanese and German grand pianos, vintage electric pianos (’77 and ’73 Tine), Wurly, Clav, Celesta and many others. You cal also use the sounds from the KORE64, PC3 and Artis models. Other tools include a master EQ and compressor, as well as a LCD color display and LED sliders.

Kurzweil also announces that the power of the built-in effects was doubled compared to the previous models.
