Acquired in the family since the early 70s, two cabins have been running for years in concert. Marshall had several cabins equipped with G12-65Rola, and Vintage30 G12T75 and those in it G12M Greenback. I sold all my other boxes and my tube heads, except my TV with my Greenback. Despite their age, are indestructible and Greenback sound like crystal, I can not be separated, despite the weight. I redid the trim in red leather, the old black boeing being in tatters. In fact, I recently purchased the Greenback to fit my mini cabins G10L35 and Greenback.
My TV still warm in the studio now, and serve for the pleasure of his incomparable. It's warm and bright, crisp and clear, with a dynamic and precise snapping. If you like the delicate bright lights, they are trying booths immediately. 50Watts a good head on a cab, or 100 watts in two cabins, and the sound is going to pierce the cap of emotions ....
My back no longer allows me to walk the 4x12 and head tube, but if I had to do the scene with this type of material, these are the cabins that I would.
And compared to other brands on the market, these cabins are not that expensive. It is a safe investment, and I've tried some of those before returning it.
With experience, oh! YES, I would do this choice, a JCM800, 900, JTM45, Fender or Mesa head ... everything sounds on it.
Note: These cabins are not for big thoughts nag attacks metal, but who knows ... after all, it sounds so good that we should try.
