No, it was my first near-field monitor. I use them in a home studio.

SOUNDS

The curve is not neutral at all. The sound is seen largely devoid of all subtlety and widely distorted. It's a little deaf, unspecified in the medium, the treble without being aggressive are not present.

OVERALL OPINION

I use them much but for many years. I just bought the Adam A7, it is certainly more than double in price but still relatively cheap compared to high-end models.
I can not see the interest to buy cheap monitors nearby. As well use his hi-fi! Really, I do not like, pianos are cool, digital, dark ... Is unspecified, and it is unclear that it is not flattering! It's cheap and uninteresting, in my opinion. Save as much.
