I bought a month ago a pair of Fostex PM1. Negotiate a pigalle 525 for info.

I use music to electro acoustic and linking: so I needed a versatile and relative neutrality on all frquences, not my EXAGRES electro bass sound and keep the s acoustic instruments.

SOUNDS

The Fostex have this huge advantage for me to be relatively neutral and fair review of the whole spectrum.
The sound is clean, although faithful in the treble (for hi-hats for example). Still, this is not tiring Fidler for the ears, and you can mix together without a Journe headache (which is less the case for me with Yamaha MSP5 boomers to some bold).

OVERALL OPINION

The report quality price of these speakers is absolutely excellent. For 520-550, it has very good speakers with which you can get a sound that rings on any media type.
My test is my mp3 player. I listen to my mixes in this player and I must say that it goes impeccable: the bass do not saturate, which proves the accuracy of the speakers.
The sound is precise, the instruments are clear.

In résumé with Fostex PM1, the mixes that we do not give out surprises. And I think that's really what we are looking at the speakers.
