I had good speakers near a good price and not too big and not too expensive either +
After trying the Tapco S8 too powerful but very well seen my room ...... so its not top .....
I have taken them after listening to a lot a lot in this price range
I put around 10 history to catch the notice of XLR far from objective. otherwise I will put 8.5
SOUNDS
The sound is fairly neutral to the mix and quite pleasant, less garish than the Yamaha
The stereo is good the sound is clear but somewhat less accurate in the low treble is excellent in my opinion.
In fact all the monitor speakers in this price range is worth + - 'they are supposed to be neutral right?) And generally have defects of their qualities yam very neutral but very tiring, very well fostex, Krk slightly colored (not embarrassing to the mix is light c)
In fact I would say that the fostex pm0.5 were better in my opinion, but not finish top
The KrK the connection is complete and good finish even though it may seem con I found the most beautiful (they are next to my living room)
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for 2 years no problem
power is more than enough in my use of other care not to over-dimensional: it must be adapted to the room the Tapco S8 that I have been too powerful (it is a wall 15 cm) low bouncing everywhere cat and imp to have a good sound without pushing a minimum. The children and Mrs. unhappy lol.
This is above the range is better and co makie such event but in this price range (€ 377 paid new pair) that is perfect for me. I will not make the mistake of criticizing a particular brand that is stupid and its not the forget it very subjective to each his ears, and taste perception try before you buy any c. But for the home studio mix that is sufficient
