These are two compact speakers but not much. They come with some different cables.

The HP are "dressed" grid of protection (not bad for the monitor speakers).

The design is quite successful (plastic gloss, wood for efficiency), there's an adjustable potentiometer as a volume that is surrounded by a beautiful blue light.

The enclosure (the one with the amp) is plugged directly into my pc via RCA plugs. However, they can be connected via jack plugs 6.35, need I say more ...
there is 1 input and 1 output jack 3.5mm facade.Bon, I think I made the rounds ...

I would have preferred a digital input but hey, no big deal ...
the main use of this type of forum is for the "audio mix" home.

SOUNDS

I find that the frequency curve is fairly well established:

Of acute-not at all aggressive (if they are, is that it comes from your source ...),

Mediums of very well-restored,

For low-cons, I prefer to make a reservation on this side ... but do not worry, the lower you will, it's still not bad!

oh yes! to avoid activating the "Bass Boost" that distorts the sound (personal opinion) ...

they are powered speakers so you do not need to pay level amp (cool for tight budgets!).
after me, since I work in a small piece, I find that the amp is very good job so dim;)

OVERALL OPINION

I have a few weeks but one thing is sure: we feel very well the difference with type logitech desktop speakers!

anyway, I must say I did not know a lot of monitor speakers but I can say that they are suitable for my use, that is the home studio.

Having listen YAMAHA MSP3 (high frequencies too bright, low to "cough") and, of KRK Rokit RP5 (stereo image about the same but better bass response as more powerful amp), which are pregnant with more than 300 (!!!!!), euros the pair at the price / quality ratio, I think the M-Audio Studiophile AV40 and agree to surprise many by far;)!

you will understand: YES I would do exactly the same choices (150 euros a pair of powered speakers to work at home with a reasonable quality, that you ask for?)!
