I am semi-amateur composer (some titles released). Style: Trance
I hesitated with Yamaha, and my choice fell on them grace the event in the front (not behind).
They are connected to a Terratec DMX 6Fire 24/96 (which is not running a 24/96 for that matter, pc not strong enough)

SOUNDS

So after reading all components of their small size (2 small 5 ") and so-called lack of serious, I was a little afraid to get into this model.
I had the opportunity to be able to listen in the store. And even if listening in a large piece like this store did not give me a great impression, I am tempted, and I have not been disappointed.
The sound is very good, and the bass is very present! I was listening to electronic music (Trance, Hardtrance, hardstyle, etc. ...), I can say that I was not disappointed. It sounds! (Not as good as in the car with the subwoofer but hey, it's not comparable).
The other thing that surprised me is the spatialization. The difference is pronounced left-right (must be the case on all monitors, but I had never been heard before).
The highs are clear and do not hurt the ears.
on the other hand I have to admit the head hurt the 1ST 2 weeks (is there a connection with the use of this new material?)

OVERALL OPINION

It's been several months now that I use and I am very satisfied.
I did not want to slam miles and cents in, I am delighted.
For cons, I admit to not being "on the ass" by the quality as everyone by the way of my hi-fi speakers with these. So either they are not great, either I had a very good hi-fi rather neutral.

Ha, if there is just something that bothered me at first:
First connection, I get the sound, and I hear a small humming. Of course, it is very light, but I do not know if this is normal (as if there was a problem of mass). I never listen too hard, and it is almost inaudible (not noticeable when the music turns), so it does not interfere, but it surprised me a little at the beginning.
