Phonic announces twelve new additions to its AM series of analog mixers.

The AM55, AM85, AM105 and AM125 are models ranging from 1-Mic/Line, 2-Stereo to 4-Mic/Line, 4-Stereo input connections for the entry-level models combining the build of previous AM mixers with new, stripped-down feature sets that are ideal for entry-level users. The AM105FX and AM125FX offer the same functionality as their non-FX counterparts, but with an effect engine built in.

The addition of the AM2442FX and AM3242FX models offer 16-Mic/Line, 4-Stereo and 24-Mic/Line, 4-Stereo inputs, respectively, providing larger-scale mixers than previously available from the AM series. Still using the same technology as the other AM models, the AM2442FX and AM3242FX include 9-band graphic equalizers, mono channels with variable low-pass filters, user-assignable talkback, and four subgroups with left/right assignment buttons. Phonic have also incorporated a 32-bit digital effects processor that offers 100 programs in addition to 9 tap-delay effects and a series of test-tones.

Finally, the AM821X, AM1221X, AM1621X and AM2421X offer 10 to 26 Mic pre-amps, plus two flexible auxiliary mixes and a mono output with variable low-pass filter. Phonic have loaded each mixers’ channels with such features as 3-band swept-mid EQs, 75 Hz low-cut filters, PAD controls for handling overly hot signals, and insert points for incorporating external effects and dynamics to the signal. The units are topped off with Phonic’s popular 16-program effect processor with variable parameter control and footswitch on/off jack.
