Pure analog synth and hard of mid-eighties
5 octaves
128 patches of sounds, chorus, polyphonic portamento. Sounds divided into two banks.
Fully editable sounds.
Dosimeters pitch, modulation (wheel / joystick), sustain pedal via
Sorie audio mono / stereo, MIDI in, out and through, good implementation, Sysex managed. Sustain pedal.
No Mac or PC connection
Polyphony 6 channels, Monophonic, not splittable.

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration, unless you want save their presets (save and load tape little practice nowadays)
I bought it used without a manual: it will be easily accommodates.

Edit extremely easy, fool done by buttons, knobs and faders.

SOUNDS

Sounds downright old-fashioned. Use sparingly "winks". Some presets in unison can give pêchus sounds interesting.
Keyboard insensitive, no aftertouch. That leaves only controllers pitch, VCF and LFO for the expression

Realistic ... yes they reproduce very well the analog synth sounds of the 80s.

The chorus is quite successful and are used almost constantly.

The pads are quite good, including strings, provided the correct EQ, a little irritating otherwise.
Other sounds popsy its fun.

OVERALL OPINION

18 years (with many long interruptions).

I tried a few KORG (really cheap at the time), a Sequential Circuits Polysix (which I also bought) and other Prophet and Polymoog (too expensive).

Vintage side. Far rebustesse and reliability: it works like the first day, except for some buttons become a little temperamental)
We appreciera pitch stability (the oscillators are digital) and the quality of resonant lowpass filter, envelope generator basic, but effective (ADSR)

The exit price was rather expensive at the time, but the competition was rare;

If I had a machine to travel back in time, maybe I would do this choice.
