This is definitely a modeling amp with 6 basic sounds completely editable and programmable. The power is 300W and the connection is complete, including a di / emulation that sends out a console to mix the same sound that comes out of the amp. A 15 ', an acute compression to cover the whole spectrum of models, namely, an Ampeg fridge, an Eden, an old Marshall amp typed a "Motown" and group "Ampeg + SansAmp." The receiver also contains a synth bass, as ugly as well as several other useful effects: chorus, octave, dynamic filter, optical compressor ... Note the absence of external connections for hp really makes this amp an amp that is supposed to stand on its own.

UTILIZATION

The config is complex as using an infinite number of settings. But the interface is intuitive and can be accessed quickly to one or more sounds really useful.
The overall sound is excellent and the various models are very effective and realistic. Honors for the very musical compressor which increases the linearity of the presence of each note without altérere sound.
The manual is simple but complete.

SOUNDS

The major quality of this amp is to have brought in a portable volume a very nice sample sounds of legends. Of course, there will be better with an Ampeg SVT in person than on the corresponding modeling Lowdown but we must look at the price, very attractive, weight, size and connectivity of the more modern amp that achieves its greatest performance : access to a big sound quality / unbeatable price. Nothing but really nothing to do at the results with amps in the same price category ...
I play it with a Marcus Miller, Fame and a Stingray. The timbre of each instrument is respected. Dynamics as well. Power is the appointment, true 300 watts, more than enough for pubs, small scenes or even larger since the output Di remarkable efficiency allows a direct connection to the circuit and therefore sono return.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had five months. It is well built, well finished, solid. I love its unique value for money and made canal, even though I was refractory to mind imitative modeling. I tried everything on the market in this price range with an Ashdown Mag300 I've owned for 1 month before returning it because of its catastrophic reliability (failure to Premiu live).
I use the model of the Ampeg that I know to have owned a few years ago. And rendering is very honest. Even if we avoid comparing what is not comparable.
