I just had this double (in black of course, it is so much better ^ ^) and I must say I am impressed with the speed it provides over previous pedals I had. In 20 minutes I managed to exceed my max speed, and that without being in great shape and optimized without setting ...

The last pedal I bought is a simple sound channel, which is very nice and correct for the price. Before I had a DW 5000 double chain which I really disappointed ... touch too heavy .. the left pedal was really much slower than the right, in short, I got drunk and sold with the money I could buy the Sonor which was much faster and easier to adjust.

To return to this Axis AL Longboard I find it really well thought out. Already the principle longboard is a good find. And this is the first pedal that allows me to find my settings as quickly (unlike other reviews I've read). In fact this is the first time I find an ideal setting without having to touch the spring (the most .... fuck to pay). In fact, the Axis can adjust: the angle of the bat, the depth of the bat (thanks to "sonic hammer" and, through their ingenious "variable drive lever", the response of the pedal (lever up: long reach and powerful shot, lever down: touch and bounce up short). It's quite magical about the Axis not need to tend to spring back to get a high speed.

I hope his reputation for delicate pedal is not going to check ... For the record Axis has just increased its rates by 20%, I hope they have strengthened the parts that were problematic. They have at least the opportunity to add a clip to attach the pedal to the bass drum (finally). In the end it cost me 666 euros (this figure is not good ^ ^), it's expensive but when I think I was ready to put 860 euros for a trick pro1 v-2 that I was finally able test and not so great ... And compared to 500 euros for the DW 5000 is well worth it, especially since we can convert into two single pedals.

I remake a comment in a year to tell you if I do not regret my choice.
