Hi,

I'm the owner of a QSC PLX230 and a QSC PLX236.

I sent them in for service (maintenance needed) after nearly 3 years of use without problems...

Let's go back to the HPA.

My dealer suggested me two amps to replace them, an A2400 for my Turbosounds and an A5000 for my MP218 subwoofers.

I'm not a pro, it's only a hobby for me.

I often read specialized magazines and the A5000 and A3200 got very positive reviews.

I also read some forums and, of course, audiofanzine... positive and negative reviews...

But I like to try out by myself.

I'm positively surprised: big, even huge power... The sound is powerful and clear.

The low-end is present, the mids are pleasant, and the highs a bit too aggressive...

I wonder if they'll survive a whole night at full power?

No problems...

Although I prefer the sound of my QSCs, I must say that the HPA amps sound amazing considering the price... They are nearly four times cheaper than my A2400...

A major turnoff is their weight!!! 110 lb together!!!

Wrapping it up, this amp works fine and has an interesting value for money.
