Electret microphone economic and quality for wind instruments: trumpet, sax, etc..

Micro very light with a clamp for mounting on the roof of the instrument and a gooseneck 10 cm to position the microphone at the desired location.

A long thin wire ends with a mini XLR, and an adapter is supplied with a standard XLR.

Very good sound (quality electret) clear, precise, chiseled and polished to perfection.

Like all microphones in this category, lightness is a desired quality, so that the clamp is lightweight and fairly fragile.

Difficult to compare the strength of the clamp with its counterparts in major brands.

It's the only reason to put a score of 8 instead of 10.

OVERALL OPINION

I am a sound engineer and musicians often come with their micro-specialized, but there are exceptions.

I bought this micro economy not for heavy use, but for the unlikely event that an instrumentalist would appear without his microphone.

I was amazed at the sound quality obtained, it is hard to beat.

For I lent it against the clamp and was broken. To be replaced.

Conclusion:

Microphone sound quality, certainly one of the cheapest for that use.

Note however that its fragility.
