Bought New at Daddy's Junky Music $419

The sound is great, I play mostly rock, some blues, and practice with an Ibanez sw35 amp. This LP gives me a nice fat yet clean sound, especially at high volume. I keep the tone controls at about 2 1/2 for a real crisp effect. It also looks great, what a finish, flawless.

It came with some no name round wound strings that not only hurt my fingers but sounded tinny. If you play hard, the strings have a tendency to hit (and scuff) the pick-ups. Whatever you do, DO NOT REMOVE THE COVERS!, or you will be replacing the pick-ups. If you experience this, I suggest using a pick to play, even if you've never used one to avoid damaging the pick-ups.

This is the heaviest bass I've ever picked up. It weighs a ton! I'm a fairly big guy at 6' 195 lbs, and my shouder gets sore hefting this around after 90 minutes or so, if your not physically fit, don't buy this bass, or get used to playing it sitting down.

Like its big brother the Gibson very well built, you could drive nails with this thing and barely dent it. For the price, the quality is excellent. Original strings were poor.

If you can stand the weight, and can't afford the Gibson LP, this is a bass you will love and it will last forever.
