I had one of the first in 1995, it was the made in JAPAN, 2 dble coil pickups, passive, Fine JB type 2 volumes, 1 tone, uu sleeve type IBANEZ !!!!!

UTILIZATION

The neck is super nice but there is a catch, the beautiful is not balanced at all and you have to do violence (yes really) to keep it (the handle) is very tiring and it makes the access to acute because of the tedious keeps! The ergonomics are very poor, the edge of the table is "sharp", it is a correct weight no more. but well short, it fatigues the muscle of the left arm and it is hard to the right forearm (that I had blurred through large wrists to protect the "Iron Maiden") The sound is great for cons, is versatile and excellent dasn all styles but its only advantage.

SOUNDS

See above, but if it passes the rock, to funk to metal or other, its shape does not slap what is a shame because the sound allows honorably.

OVERALL OPINION

I kept it 6 months, bought almost 900 euros in 1995 (I know it was in francs at the time so about 5700 FF), it was sold in a case but not brand him, I had bought on a whim Commander of the head as possible to see one in real life anywhere, it looks obviously attracted me but this is his only advantage (avaec sound), I did some rehearsal and studio but I hope that the new models are solved his problems, in short it is a very nice machine of torture! We must fight and win if we love its look. I've never seen a bass as unbalanced when you release the handle, the head immediately plog very very low (almost at the knees) and m ^ me if it is not very heavy at the shoulder, it seems that the forearm supports a ton. If it is to take pictures with or put on a wall or to the studio assisen position is ok, but if it is to play long hours, forget it! If vosu're used to the low type Jazzbass, you jeterez the window! So I sold it very quickly!
