« Digitech RP200 Multi-Effects Processor »

Published on 02/01/03 at 15:00
i paid roughly $200 canadian for it at my local guitar store.

it has a lot of effects, very easy to edit new sounds and stuff. it sounds much better played through solid state amps, instead of tube amps. there's a lot of stuff for a good price.

because there is so many effects in one little box for a small price, none of the effects are very good. the distortion is not very good (although it sounds alright when played through a solid state amp), the wah pedal settings are simply HORRIBLE. but it has nice chorus, flanger, some ok reverb settings, and simple-but-still-pretty-good delay. and having to scroll through all of the effects can be a pain sometimes.

havn't had any problems yet, i've been playing with it for about a year.

overall it's a great pedal for the price, although all the effects aren't the best quality. this probably won't matter too much if you aren't picky about your sound. i recommend this pedal to beginner guitar players wanting to expand their guitar sound beyond a cheap distortion pedal like the boss metal zone :) (HORRIBLE PEDAL!)
