UTILIZATION
I've never tired .. round pleasant happiness of the seventh chord .. I must say it was designed to be versatile, easy to play, and reliable (we had to reassure skeptical of the seventh chord) ..
Great for many cavernous agreements, it also arpeggios and descending melodies more ..
for proof, guitar shred my partner, who have fun on a beautiful blue floral Jem, sold it to buy the model of the seven-time black string (pyramids pearl on the fretboard, but hideous logo kind of mystical delirium vai on the body ...)
SOUNDS
For sound, it is certainly good in the man Vai (but it has been worse, as tonal signature) but the spectrum is wide .. of course, is not an instrument of bluesman ... we can play with the configurations of single and dual microphone .. nothing very original, but all you need ..
OVERALL OPINION
Purchased in 1992 (9000 frs so), I realized a dream with this beautiful object (to be chosen at the time, dirty-white or multicolored version, expensive and uncertain .. black is sober, and green fluorescent brings a fancy light and friendly when you get used to fast ..) But this guitar was outdated by 1995, before the challenge of youth groups up to date (korn and other ..).. but other than Steve Vai, some of my favorites used them as scratch: Derek Taylor, Scott Stine, Rob Johnson .. then everyone started to manufacture (of 7 strings ..)
