two outputs: one stereo output (sound / power from the internal sound card), and an output RJ45 (network cable) that connects directly to the Line6 Vetta or POD XT Live, or the unit "workbench "line six separate opportunities to better enjoy the guitar (customization, alternate tunings).

the sound is quite pleasant "unplugged", but once plugged in the guitar is stirring.
The sound of this guitar is made to suit all types of music, since you can customize at will the sound characteristics of the beautiful, especially through the workbench (accessible with the unit hardware sold separately, or through the POD XT Live , or the Vetta)
I play with a pod xt is connected to the sound system or a powered speaker (B. Cord Audio), or sometimes a marshall JCM 2000 "live".
the sound is simply stunning, especially for Les Paul, Telecaster and Stratocaster. I owned a les paul studio, and the comparison is held ... Of course, I get a good marshall all lamps with a les paul, it will sound better than the Variax. but the difference is not so egregious, in particular recording that is quite the way! note: the guitar makes its best services in clean or crunch or even slight distortion. with large distos is that it sounds not (on the contrary, its very good), but we no longer know the difference between a les paul and a Start or a rickenbacker ... everything sounds like beyond a certain level of distortion ... which is a shame, but not necessarily of the guitar ...

- Change of tuning within the same song, simply by changing the switch position: it is the only guitar that does so seamlessly. I often use different tunings (dropped D, all strings lowered a semitone so hendrix or slash, or 4 low tones as Black Sabbath, or an octave lower commme low) and is bluffing. no other guitar that I know did this.
can also customize the sounds for its sounds really preferred.
- I use it for over a year.
- I prefer the following two options: move from his acoustic electric sound, change the tuning without having to touch the mechanical
- I tried the guitar shop, I did not want to buy another, given the possibilities of the beast.
- Amazing value for money.
- I would do the selection again.
