Roland TD-4SX

Roland announced general availability of the V-Drums V-Compact Series TD-4SX, described as "the companion kit to the popular TD-4S" and "the most affordable all mesh head V-Drums kit to date."

The TD-4SX features Roland’s multi-layer mesh heads for the snare and toms. With PDX-8 mesh pads for the snare, and floor tom and new smaller PDX-6 mesh pads for the high-toms, the TD-4SX are designed to provide “a natural feel and superior expressiveness for performance or practice, ” the company says.

It is also expandable with an optional V-Pad or V-Cymbal.

The TD-4SX includes the TD-4 Percussion Sound Module, which features quality drum and percussion sounds that can be edited with tuning and muffling, allowing the user to customize their kits.

The Rhythm Coach and Quick Record functions are ideal for effective practice, providing feedback for rapid improvement. The MDS-4 drum stand are designed to allow flexible and solid positioning of the pads and place the TD-4 module in the center for easy access.
