This is a 3 zone cymbal (bell, body and edge) with the suffocation. This cymbal is actually a copy of smartrigger ride.
The touch of bronze this cymbal cymbals clearly outperforms the plastic or rubber, any brand and any reference confused.
Although metal, it is silent as lined with a layer of plastic insulation on its underside (except the bell). However, the noise impact on the metal rods produces a more present than on a rubber model.
This cymbal is silent, but not totally.
In terms of connectivity, it connects to the stereo using 2: 1 Body / slice and 1 for the bell / slice (the model without choking the cymbal does not require a jack). It is therefore perfectly compatible with Roland modules. Modules for Yamaha, it will probably be a little trickier.
Strong side, I have no complaints so far (over a month). We will see in some time ...
Level value for money, in my opinion the top. It's cheaper than the CY-15R with a feel and look much more realistic!
