If you own or can borrow an Elektron instrument, you can participate in the Science Lab Challenge.
To participate in the Science Lab Challenge, download on this page the sample with which you’ll create a new song by using either an Elektron Octatrack, Machinedrum UW or Analog Rytm. The song duration must be between 1 and 3 minutes and you cannot use any other device or software for the creation (the original sample must be loaded to the machine without any modification), nor resample, post-prod or edit the sample and song.
Once created, send a private message to fredrikalm (the creator of the contest post at elektronauts.com with the MP3 link (320 kbps resolution) so that he can load it to the Elektronauts SoundCloud account ; all the songs can he heard by the community.
The jury will select the best song created with each machine and a grand winner will receive the Elektron instrument of his/her choice. The two other laureates will receive clothing goodies. Note that the three winners will have to share their Sysex files with the Elektronauts community.
Submission deadline is February 27th, 1PM CET and the winners will be announced on March 6th.
