UTILIZATION
It's been one month that I have this audio card (included in the PODCASTUDIO Berhinger)
First of all, I'm pretty happy with the appearance of solid material
sound quality decent (for the price) I use it for recording voice and guitar
small flat cable for the microphone a little short (about 1m10)
good in terms of the FCA202 is another story because you see I have a PC with Windows XP sp2.
Berhinger-red card for that match a side of the question
Woodbrass-to (where I bought) he told me they inquiring at Berhinger then he sent me an email saying that they were available to me what it takes to return the equipment (better than nothing tell me).
except that when I buy hardware that is not primarily a return due to a driver
because the problem is the drivers it's three weeks I fought with (not a full-time thankfully)
Finally I found the solution (if it can help here):
First-if you have installed the drivers uninstall the device manager (right click on desktop-properties-Hardware tab-Device Manager-right click on FCA202-uninstall) then unplug the firewire FCA202 of decision and restart PC
Inserra, 2nd cd open Windows Explorer click on player-click on windows xp-driver and then click on click on "fca202setup.exe" doing ok in 3 boxes that open
-3rd off the PC and plug the firewire-restart Windows detects hardware follow the instructions (hopefully it installs the driver).
but then that's not it work
4th-go to the website of Berhinger and download the latest version of the driver
then click on "fca202setup.exe" (without disconnecting the firewire) follow the instructions
Here it works and I can tell you that I try a combination.
not dreaming I am telling you directly install the latest driver it does not work
