«  excellent quality / functionality / price »

Published on 04/24/11 at 11:24
I bought it to replace my Presonus Firebox (which still works fine) its 8 preamp quality, its interface FW, its two headphone outputs and routing software that allows a great flexibility
it is rack mounted and connected to my "old" MacPro 2.66 quad 12 Gb ram Snow Leopard 10.6.5

UTILIZATION

Never had a crash, drivers are concrete under osx, between Logic and routing software, I really do what I want input / sorites.
I record rarely more than 2 tracks at once, for reading, I load up to 30 or 40 tracks, audio and virtual instrumentals.
I resolved in Logic 64 samples which is supposed to 11ms, I did not try to do better, I do not feel the need ...

GETTING STARTED

SIR, I barely opened the manual

OVERALL OPINION

Of course, if I was pro and I wanted to put to advantage in, I opted to Apogee or RME but we must be realistic and stop being the fart with stuff, there are 5 or 10 years it was excellent record with half of what we have today.
I use it for 6 months and with the same budget and for the same use, I will ever be the same choice without hesitation.
