I use it with an electric guitar directly plugged into an input device. I am not a professional musician, I play a lot, for fun.

I was looking for an interface that allows me to register both in good condition and replace my amp with me offering me the opportunity to connect Rapidos and easily provide full sound.

The 410 is connected to a tower PIV 2.4 Ghz (XP SP2), a G0 RAM, I have not dedicated to music but this remains the priority application (the PC is "slightly" configured).

UTILIZATION

Easy installation, no problem. Driver taken to the site M-Audio.

I had before my old soundblaster live off via the control panel, without turning on the motherboard.

The 410 is configured via a control panel rather complete but requires a small learning curve, which seems perfectly normal.

Manuel very succinct but do we really need? The 410 is intuitive, it is doing fine without.

GETTING STARTED

As mentioned earlier, driver recovered at the site of M Audio. It dates from October 2005, not updated since but no crash, no conflict found so far.

When recording, I use Ableton Live and Pro-Tools. I also use plugins for my stand alone plug and play quickly.

I have not calculated the latency. In fact I forgot what it meant. It is perfectly inaudible.

At the moment I turned the three tracks at a time, no problem.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month and a half.

The 410 revolutionized the way I play music.
Before, I was going through a big amp, compact, correct, but its very limited level. There, I plug in my guitar, I choose my sounds, I invented, I play, I create a rhythm track, I improvise on it, I record or not ... is happiness!
Rapidos I play through Guitar Rig, which has a handy feature stand alone, with an integrated magneto to be able to easily and improvisation of beef with yourself

The sound quality is excellent but obviously depends on many plugin employees. With Guitar Rig, clean sounds / crunches are monstrous. AmpliTube preference for Satus, while high quality even if it still faces the problem inherent in the blast plugin (which can be reduced by moving).

The raw sound of the 410 complies with the tone of my guitar. Anyway, I never hear it because I always pass by a plugin ...

I have not tried one before. I toured the forums and seek advice from a musician friend, it pro.

I just said, the 410 has completely changed my way of thinking about music in offering me the opportunity to play and create quick, easy and excellent acoustic conditions.

I could not do without and still wonder how I was to live without!
