Value For Money : Excellent
Super 18 input 18 sound card outputs with integrated DSP
I use the card recording and playback
Beware the card only works with a mac
My config is MH 2882 + DSP Mac Book 2Ghz Ardour and software, external drive on occasion.
Instruments I record voice, sound concert console ADAT outputs.

UTILIZATION

Installation is no problem.
the manual I did not read
The general configuration can be simple enough even after reading the manual.
Routing is super simple card possibilities are enormous. Metric Halo provides regular updates that are not just bug fixes but also advanced software control of the map for a greater flexibility of use and functions supplemenatires. Some bugs I've ever had.

GETTING STARTED

Drivers stable in any one year crash.
Regular update
main software I use is Ardour for users and DP LP7 an update for the integration of plug-in card in the software has been released.
Very low latency, very low almost non-existent (nothing to do with the latency of a MOTU).
recording or reading weaknesses are on the computer, portable drive too slow ... never on the map

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year
the DSP and routing enable all tracks retrieve record with other materials to the route it takes to use the plugins of the card and it saves the mix directly into the card without additional conversion.
Converters excellent
The preamps of good quality, lack of gain 40 dB Max, a little breath when they are pushed.
it is the best mobile map that I used by far
value for money is excellent

I would buy the same card with eyes closed
