I use it in Snow Leopard with a Mac Pro 2 x 2.8.

I wanted the ultimate in sound card with good converters and preamps 2. The card is worth its price if you take a converter and preamp separately as we are well beyond.

The volume control made me sell my spl volume 2. And nothing to do with my old Motu 828.

Possibility to connect a turntable directly.

Provide quality cables of course!

UTILIZATION

Drivers are regularly updated and strength and find that they have improved since the first post. Only downside: The frequency change, for example passing a 48KHz project to another project in 96K, the card does not like that. EDIT: Under cubase only.

GETTING STARTED

Everything is clear.
Does not support chaining (very large latency) in a duende firewire or PowerCore. Provide a second port.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months.

The converters are faithful, transients and harmonics preserved, and the card is equipped with overkillers, sort of hardware limitation (awesome), which makes virtually all entries are unsaturated.
Storing levels catch combos: for example, I plug in a bass combo on one front and the software automatically remembers the gain previously recorded. I unplug it reconfigures itself to the microphone plugged into the back.
The preamps are extra. The bass sound is the ultimate judge: The sound is open, precise, detailed low end and punchy.
