Value For Money : Excellent
Description already available. I want to emphasize that like all EHX pedals recent nano (holy grail, freeze, etc. ..) the species of aluminum alloy, although strong, is nowhere near the feeling of strength and quality offered by boss pedals, TC electronics or MXR. This is a personal opinion and the price is not the same, but you know ...

UTILIZATION

Setup could not be more simple and standard volume, tone and gain. After, each to refine their sound by playing with the settings

SOUND QUALITY

Like any self-respecting big muff, it sends the fat and could cover the sound of a chainsaw with the gain at 3. I cons by two separate opinions on the quality of the beast:

- One ear objective, the pedal is a good quality / price ratio. The fuzz is pretty good quality and done the job for both large gulps rhythmic serious jack to the white or black keys, for solos with the sustain fairly consistent even with a strat. It gives a real shot gouache has single coil pickups. For this price, it was basically a choice between a boss DS1 and a little big muff, the two are trying because they do not use the same but the investment is worth it.

- A suggestive ear, I also has a russian big muff, because without boring 9v jack. I Éclusé all youtube videos and read a lot of opinions, and I had the sensation that the sound was not as good on the little. I thought I was a bit autistic and threw myself anyway.
I can confirm that the sound has NOTHING to do, say you found the mind, but it's not going away. Where BM Russia would spend my strat for a bulldozer, filled with serious but very well defined and does not drown provided the higher notes, the LBM in comparison is a real boiled compress it to death, but in the negative sense, ie big loss of momentum and total drowning in low flowing completely his agreement. The difference is less felt on the other hand on solos.

Where I can not help but display a goofy smile when I let off steam on the intro Cherub Rock Smashing BM with my Russian, I honestly thought I was going to cry after experimented with LBM ...

OVERALL OPINION

My overall opinion is average. I think a non-owner of Big Muff should be satisfied with the LBM. For those who know the "standard" of this gem and hope to find it in this pedal, flee .. I would recommend, given the price difference, opt for the standard Big Muff certainly pervasive, but that sounds.
