Value For Money : Excellent
The installation is done it without problems?
Yes.

The general configuration is easy?
At first it's complicated since we must go through the Jack software, but after that ride alone!

Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
No, I'm working with a Fast Track Ultra 8R and it works perfectly!

The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
Yes, but I recommend as the previous post to take the introductory video.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

What is the configuration of your computer? (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk / sound card ..)
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB DDR3 1067 MHz
Sound Card: Fast Track Ultra 8R
System: Mac OSX 10.6.5

The software works he correctly on this configuration?
Ideally, the integrated mixer does not consume much CPU and RAM!

What performance? (If quantifiable)
Good for the analog side, simulation, summons ...
The EQ and comp are good for the price I must say. There are still some EQ and Comp better on the market but more expensive.
EQs are still easy to use. I set my frequency I go and it does what it is done.
The Comp lack of certain parameters such as the release. But it gets there anyway because they are very well adjusted to begin with.

Integrated free software "Ardour" editing is simple, mixing well. Too bad the MIDI is not integrated but can its linker between them, thanks to DAW software merveilleur "Jack" (Free).

This software + hardware is stable?
Very. Some bugs but very rare ...

OVERALL OPINION

For how long have you been using it?
1 week as I tamper with!

What thing do you like most/least about it?
Pros:
= Not expensive (80 €)
= Good EQ, Comp, Limit, etc. ...
= Pre and Post Plugin
= The restricted side
= Simulation Band

Cons:
= Lack of compensation for delay to buses (4 buses with the simulation of the band were off)
= MIDI are integrated should come in version 3.0 of Ardour.
Small = something like Flex Time, Varispeed ...
= Lack of export MP3 ...
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
Pro Tools, Logic, DP, Reaper, Presonus One.

It is best to edit in your usual DAW (Logic is me) and mixing in Ardour importing wav files.

What is your opinion about the value for the price? Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
The report is very good I think. Quite surprised I must say ...
I would do without this choice problem.
