I bought this for myself at Guitar Center in East Brunswick, NJ. I paid $89.99 plus tax.

This is a stomp box with a bonus -- a morph knob. This feature takes the settings you have, and helps you vary them further. Through this pedal, you can range from light distortion that goes great with palm muting, a mid distortion that is great for high toned solo's, and then an amazingly deep yet crunch packing distortion reminiscent of 80's hair bands. This is an exceptional pedal, comparable to pedals that are 4 or 5 times the price. Digitech knows what they are doing, and this pedal proves it.

Well, with the great variables in tone and control this pedal offers, I constantly find myself wanting to be able to have presets. It make become more of a workstation at that point, but that would make it simply over the top.

This pedal can take a beating. I have not had one problem with this unit on stage or at home. The batteries last longer, and don't start to fade early as they tend to in Ibanez or Boss pedals I have used. Alone, the lever action on the pedal surpasses any expectation i had for such a low-priced pedal. I would have no qualms paying twice as much for a pedal of this quality.

This pedal simply blew me away. My faith in Digitech is doubled, and i highly recommend this pedal to anyone looking for reliable distortion.
