Small analog distortion pedal, gain, treble, midle, deep, volume and bypass switch (a priori it is a true-bypass).
In and Out in mono jack 6.35 "asymmetrical.
No MIDI or USB is a basic pedal and not the latest digital multi-effect fashion.

The case is beautiful, the golden knobs are very "classy" and pleasant to the touch.
The switch does not bar testicle after 5 minutes.

8 / 10 is good industrial beautiful finish on the cheap.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is it simple?
Not necessarily. The search for the sound you have in mind is not very easy and it often gets results strongly imbued with the personality of the GV2 +.

Editing sounds and effects is it easy?
Yes, it's a pedal pretty easy to understand, much less to use.

The manual is clear and sufficient?
Memory, the manual does little to the understanding of the effect. At most it merely to explain the action of the knobs, but nothing can replace the grip and experience.

8 / 10 for appearance "use".

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
The effects are large enough. From a colorful boost to saturation rather violent (but not Nu Metal supercharged) full of harmonics and fat, GV2 + fulfills its mission with gusto. The sound described by advertisements and catalogs as "typical Marshall" is not usurped, relatively speaking of course: a pedal does not replace the JCM, the best there is thinking.

Which instruments do you use?
With a guitar ... more clearly, with a Yamaha RGX-520FZ at the time. I no longer have the pedal and the guitar for several months.

Which ones you prefer, you hate?
The Boost is useful and gives a little juice to soft crunch of the knee, by saturating it more into well-known Marshallian records. Let's say the effect is strongly influenced by the Marshall touch whatever you do, it's a bit of interest in this pedal. So I like this color too excessive.
I do not hate anything, and if that were the case, I would not use it unpleasant to use. I'm not a masochist ...

OVERALL OPINION

I used this pedal a few months, with a scratch "in fashion" all mahogany and humbuckers high output, two bodies in an amp (Peavey Supreme XL Head and 2X12 Cab Genz Benz George Lynch).

I like its looks, its price and its finish. The sound is not bad, with a unique boss, making it a complementary tool. I used some pedal overdrive / distortion / overdrive, but I'm not a fan of these additions, I often prefer to be saturated with the channel of the amp. This pedal adds an extra grain to the pallet. It is not essential and not mandatory, but gives a bit of a Marshall amp with a different color.

She has been in the friend Xavier Bellemoufle must be used in practice as a combo pedal chaispaquoi. Will ask his opinion.

A great little pedal, elegant and cheap which will give a little taste of your Marshall sound.
