I use a SSH+ in the bridge of my Vigier Excalibur that replaced a DM Tone Zone that had too much brilliance and harmonics for my taste. It took my guitar to another dimension. The sound is so huge that split in two singles. It can sound heavy but also have finesse, from the vintage Les Paul or ES335 sound to a huge metal sound, depending on the amp and the distortion that is used. Anyway, I recommend it to those looking for a high quality pickup with a lot of character. (Surprised that no one has yet given their opinion on the pickup since Seymour Duncan and Di Marzio pale in comparison next to this marvel)
