Published on 04/06/11 at 03:24I bought a G12K100 Seventy to replace a 80 in my Tech 21 Power Engine 60.
Why? I used previously to amplify a PE60 Axe FX, but not enGB I could not use the HP simus Axis. So, as the Seventy 80 is not necessarily a great warrior for hard rock and metal, I replaced it for a new HP.
I hesitated a lot between a V30 and G12K100 to ultimately choose the latter, and it was a good idea at the same setting I have more present bass and defined without being intrusive and a high of more spectrum pleasant. Note that the G12K100 behaves very well in open combos.
Final score: 9 - Lack perhaps a bit of mediums and will be optimal in combination with a V30.
