[NAMM] New Hayden HX guitar amp series

Hayden has introduced at NAMM 2014 the HX twin-channel tube guitar amp heads and combos.

The new Hayden HX Series comprises two amp heads and two combos, namely:

The 100W HX 100 H and 50W HX 50 H amp heads, with the following specs:

  • 2 channels with separate Gain and Volume controls
  • Boost switch on Channel 2
  • 3-band passive EQ per channel
  • 2 FX loops with independent level controls and switching facilities
  • Dual Master Volume controls
  • Power Output: 100W / 50W RMS into 4 Ohms (HX 100 H)
  • Power Output: 50W / 25W RMS into 4 Ohms (HX 50 H)
  • 4 12AX7 tubes with DC heaters for the preamp stage (HX 100 H)
  • 4 EL34 tubes for the output stage (HX 100 H)
  • 2 EL34 tubes for the output stage (HX 50 H)
  • Standby switch

And the 60W HX 60 C and the 40W HX 40 C combos with the following specs:

  • 2 channels with separate Gain and Volume controls
  • Boost switch on Channel 2
  • 3-band passive EQ per channel
  • Effects Send and Return (w/Return Level control)
  • Dual Master Volume controls
  • Power Output: 40W / 20W RMS into 4 Ohms (HX 40 C)
  • Power Output: 60W / 30W / 15W RMS into 4 Ohms (HX 60 C)
  • 4 12AX7 tubes for the preamp stage
  • 4 EL84 tubes for the output stage (HX 40 C)
  • 2 EL34 tubes for the output stage (HX 60 C)
  • Digital reverb with Long/Short, Hall/Plate options and dedicated control
  • Line level Recording Output with speaker emulation
  • Standby switch
